Former DESTINY's CHILD star KELLY ROWLAND wants to follow in the footsteps of her pop peers MADONNA and GERI HALLIWELL - by releasing her own range of children's literature.
The former Destiny's Child star, 27, has already carved out a successful music career and has ventured into Hollywood - but she's got her sights set on hitting book store shelves with her very own kids' tales.
And she's determined to establish herself as a serious author and actress within the next three years - before she turns 30.
She tells WENN, "There's so much I want to achieve (before I'm 30). I want to write some children's books... (but) we'll see what happens.
"I'm excited about life, I'm excited about my new record... And hopefully another movie, some TV shows down the pipeline before I'm 30."
Madonna released her first children's book, titled The English Roses, in 2003, while Spice Girl Halliwell launched her own series of novels, centred around her main character Ugenia Lavender, earlier this month (May08).
